Greetings: Doug here from "HOT" (WHEW) Missouri.
Glad to be on board and thank you Mr. administrator for accepting me.
I started modeling (If thats what ya wanna call it) when I was around five or so. But back then them 1.29 models my paw bought me, just turned to one big glue ball lol. I build strictly old school. I like creating the old cars, trucks, tractors and hit and miss engines that layed in junkyards and behind old barns when I was a small boy. On the farm here, I gave the chickens the boot, from their house last Dec., (Built them another one out of old pallets) and turned their original into my shop for building models. The front part of the shop where I build, has a/c for summer and a small wood stove for the winter. The rear part houses my two stationary junkyard dioramas for picture taking as I sell junkers on e-bay and it's also a place for storage of other models as well. The one yard is for the 20s-40s cars and trucks and the second is for the 50s-70s cars and trucks. This year some time I'm going to incorporate a 1/16th scale yard for farm tractors and what not. I also have my wood working tools back there for building small dioramas for the old vechiles. Like I said I sell on e-bay but also I buy the vintage models that you can"t find anymore and resin cast the parts and bodys and sell them also. Well enough on my bragging.Y"all are doing a great job from what I"ve seen so far. This here seems like a good place to shoot the breeze. Thanx for you time and we'll be a talken soon. Doug
