OK, here is an oldie I have started on again. When I first got this one, it was going to be black with blue stripes, but couldn't match up the blue for the scoop. Then went with red and white stripes, but sanded thru the clear and destroyed the decals. Had gotten interior done, motor done, and was working on chassis. For some reason used super glue on wheel retainers, and got one sideways, twisted it off trying to fix. Back in the box it went. Pulled it out last year, stripped the body and shot it green. That one messed up. Ended up with Copenhagen Blue. Paint is far from perfect (read lots of solvent pop), just got tired of painting it! Recently got another kit for the rear end parts, used the glass, and the grill assembly from it. Hope to have it done soon, thanks for looking. A small update. Got the windshield and rear window trim foiled, grill work and headlights are in. Added some plastic to the back of the interior bucket to raise the body a bit. Also painted up the factory wheels to see how they would look, now I'm not sure which wheels to use. May also add the other set of white stripes so that these are not so dark. Thanks for looking.
