1969 Chevy Nova

Heres A Project I Been Tinkering With A Couple Of Weekends Ago. This Is The New Revell Kit Im Building This One As A Plain-Jane 72 Nova. I Did A Few Mods Such As: Removing The Side Marker Lights & Fender Vents, Filled In The Hood Vents, Replaced The SS Panel With Strip Of Styene To Make It Appear Stock. The Kits Engine Is Being Built As A Stock 307 Ci. The 2 Barrel Intake Came From A AMT 55 Cameo Pickup, The Carb Is From The Parts Box, The Tranny Came From A MPC Vette, The Valve Covers Came From A AMT 72 Chevy Pickup. I'll Keep Ya'll Posted On This Build.

The Color Is Gonna Be The Original Spring Green Paint Which Im Ordering From MCW. The Interior Is Gonna Be Black I Modified The Kits Bucket Seats And Made It Into A Bench Seat By Using .080 Round Rod From Evergreen And Filled In The Center Piece With .030 Sheet Styene.

Heres Some Progress On The Nova The Interior & Frame Has Been Repainted Filled In The Hood Vents To Make The Hood Plain-Jane Its Gonna Be Painted In A Few Weeks I Gotta Get The Picture Of The Nova From My Aunt For Further Details. I'll Keep Ya'll Posted.

Heres the bench seat that i fabbed for the nova i used the kits bucket seats. I trimmed the ends off, braced it with .060 round styrene rod & filled in the gaps with .030 sheet styene i used the evergreen products for this conversion. I got this idea from a forum member from scale auto. I still need to put a another layer of spot putty before primering it.

Heres the dash i just completed i added a column shifter made from a stright pin and also added the turn signal lever also made with a stright pin.
