Here's an old build that I found pics of
it was an old slot car w/ no wheels/tires and about 1/2" of brush painted blue paint.

this is a pic of the body after stripping & mock-up on new wheels/ tires. (one EXALT for the first person to correctly identify the wheels used! (just the centers)):


here's the finished result:


Tamiya Pearl White over about 9 coats of tamiya primer to try to kill that pink/red plastic.
