I am planning to do my first flocking job on the CRX I'm building. What is the best flocking to use and how do you guys apply it? ive used the detial master stuff and ken's fuzzy fur......the best way i have found to put it on is to paint the area you are flocking with the same color as the flocking material....let it dry. then after mix up an amount of elmer's white glue and water 50/50.....then i used one of my old spray pump bottles (like CA glue "kicker") and lightly spray the area with the solution......clean up any overspray.....then i apply the flocking material from a small sifter (like you would use for flour in baking.......find it @ the grocery store) and shake it out on the area......make sure you totally cover the area in the flocking material......let it sit for about 10 minutes......after it tacks up, i tap the piece over a trash can a get rid of all the excess flocking material.....seems kinda complicated but it works VERY well with me......practice a few times first....just to get the hang of it....in my opinion nothing looks worse than an interior flocked thats way too thick and isn't done neatly....adam
