I thought this show would be bigger than it was but it was only the precurser to the big one in March. In reality it was a meet and great which was really nice. This was my first show and I really enjoyed myself. Since this particlular show was a small one it only had three competition categories. They were: 1. 50 years of the Impala, which was any Impala built in any style. 2. The Black and Orange category which was for any build that was either black or orange or both. Halloween theme. 3. The last category was the Best of the Rest which was every thing else. The show next March will have 21 categories and will be huge. I can't wait for that. I won three of the nine awards given. 3rd. place for the Impala category with my '67 pro street Impala 427 and 3rd. place with my '62 Bel Air Blown 409. Althought I didn't complete it, I entered my '69 GTX and came in 2nd place in Best of the Rest which was a pleasant surprise because it was nowhere near complete. I was not at all satisfied with it because of this but I just couldn't get it done. There's a pic of it on the link. I'll post more of it when it's done.
