Since I'm new here I thought I'd go ahead and post a few of my builds. The rest of the cars are in the racing section. I built this model in 1996 or 1997 and hadn't build another model until about 5 months ago. It was built box stock with the exception of a little marking on the tires. I was at Daytona when Sterling won the 500 in this car and really wanted to build this model. That is Sterlings autograph on the trunk lid. He thought it was a die-cast until he picked it up to sign it so I guess I did a pretty good job.    Big Mike |

Hey Big Mike, that one was my 2nd NASCAR build. I used Testors (?) Kodak paint. Is that what you used? You did a nice job. I bet Sterling liked it.

Thanks for the compliments. I used Odds & Ends Sunshine Yellow when I painted it so many years ago.
