I have to be honest, this was not my favorite build. The subject matter was not my first choice. But it was for the Club so I thought what the heck. Like all good modelers I waited until the last minute to start, (and finish) mine. I thought I would go with a 2 Fast, 2 Furious theme. More like 2 Frilly, 2 Funny. The Club made rules for the build but I had a few of my own. I was not going to sweat any of the details. It will not have a mirror shine. The interior will be mostly brush painted, (the horror)! I'm going to try Future for the clear coat. The chassis will not be highly detailed. In other words, just a fun, out of the box build.

I managed to get the club build finished on the day it was due. It was nice to build a model and not be to worried about making mistakes. Other than the postings on this board and the club's Fotki site, this model will never be seen by any one else. It is definitely NOT contest quality . I did use Future for the clear coat. I just used a 1" brush. It went on as advertised. The ride height is a little too high for me. I sprayed Tamiya Smoke on the side and rear glass. It turned out less than spectacular. Not sure if I had the glass clean enough.

John I really like this build. You did a great job. Especially since the subject matter really didn't interest you that much. BTW do you know where I can get a 1:1 hood decal like that for my wife's Grand Am? ;D
