Thought I would try to take an AMT early 90s NASCAR T-Bird and turn it into an after market bodied, short track or ASA style car! A lot of work but its been fun. Let me try and document what I have done, so far. Chopped and narrowed the roof, some, will re-install with a slight offset to the drivers side. Pie wedge cut the rear deck over the wheel well to raise the tail. Fabbed a longer, flatter, deck lid to go with the cuts to the roof, now that that is a little shorter. Shortened the front fender and cowl about 5 scale inches to give it a wheelbase of 105" Started to scratch-bash an off set chassis from a Model King asphalt modified, a 57 Chevy Street machine, and Evergreen rods. Some fine building Slim. That is going to be a wicked T-Bird.

Slim that is one slick looking T-Bird. I say throw some dirt tires on there and get it dirty.

Thanks Bobby! Nah! The body would need to look different! Like this: Although the offset chassis is almost correct!
