A Thom Daniels classic! I bought this one in a hobby shop years ago, just because I liked the retro box art! Needed a break a few years back, so out this one came. I gotta say, these are fun builds. No worries about accuracy, no engine to detail, just plastic to paint and loads of chrome! I like chrome, its my favorite color! This is 98% finished, just need to paint the band figures for the back. Thanks for looking. Dave

This would be a great canidate for my 24 hour build next year. I'd have to find a mint in the box one of course.
If this is what I go with in 2010, remember you were the inspiration for the subject.
Very nice job by the way, and I love all the detail painting. The dates coming quick guys! Are you in fireguy?

Afraid I can't do it Gary. The 17th is my wife's birthday! And besides, if I tried sitting here at home, I'd never make it! Thanks for the comments on the truck, go ahead and finish yours! A couple of things, masking the boards for multiple colors is not as easy as it seems! And be careful inserting them in the racks, kinda tricky. I need to take some more pics of this one, will post those when I get them.

Thanks for the information on the garbage truck. I may finish this sooner than expected. I'm also sure your wife would understand about the build. You motivated me on the show rod thing, so I started doing a little research and I think I know, 90% sure what my build will be. Check out the 4th annual 24 hour build site here on the Mad Modeler board to find out. Thanks for the inspiration.
