Hello everyone! My name is Ed Ryan and I'm 46 years old. I've been building models since I was 7 or 8 years old. I build mostly Factory stocks and Muscle cars but occasionally I get the urge to build something different and I'll build a Hotrod or a Race car or whatever ... My last build was a Lowrider!!! I recognize a lot of names on here from other boards that I post on, and I see that I'm even related to one of them.haha(Willy Survive is my Son) I'm looking forward to being a part of this board and showing pics of my builds so thanks for letting me join!!!  |

Woohoo, whats up pops? Glad to see you made it over here. I think you'll really like it here. These guys are the friendliest and most helpful compared to any other forum I've been on. I think you'll really like it here. And now we have about 51 weeks to talk you into a 24 hour build.  Seriously dad I'm glad you came over. I know I'm sure glad I did. Welcome to TMM Ed. Glad to have you here. I hope to meet your son at one of our NCWVSM club meetings. Who knows, maybe you can come down to WV for one of the meetings with Will.

Glad to have you here on TMM Ed. You have a great son. What a blast we had on the 24 HR Build. Post some of those builds. If you get a chance tag along with Will to one of our meetings.

Glad to have you with us Ed. Looking forward to seeing photos of some of your builds. So tell me, who's the better modeler between you and Will? 
Believe us, the build is well worth the sleep deprivation.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I followed along on the 24 hour build and it looked like everyone had a lot of fun, So next time I may join in. I'm just not sure that I can stay awake for 24 hours.haha. Also I'm almost positive that I can't finish a build in 24 hours. I'm not a fast builder. I'll post some pics later today of some of my builds. Gary, Of course I'm a better builder that Will, Just don't tell him I said so..lol ;D |

I just wanted to stop in and say hello, and welcome to the Mad Modeler before it got real ugly! HAHAHAHAHA. Seriously, its great to see father/son teams on here. Won't be long before Jeremy and hopefully at least one of my girls is posting on their own!
