This was my 2009 24 hour build. It is a Revell of Germany kit. Overall I would have to say it was not a bad kit. It was the first RoG kit as well as the first F1 kit I've built. The moldings were nice. Fit was generally good. Decals were great. They fit very nice. RoG gives you carbon fiber for the suspension and the chassis plate. They went down with no problems and look very good. The white decals were not opaque enough as the red showed through. And yes Bobby, I painted it! 
Because it was a 24 hour build I did rush a few things. This one is definitely a three footer 
One side pod just didn't seem to want to fit properly. The nose wing is not perfectly squared up 
. My biggest concern was the rear wing. It consists of 6 elements and 2 end plates. The locating pins were all too long to fit into the end plates and had to be sanded down. This made locating all of the elements a little tricky. The obvious concern was getting all the pieces together and square at the same time. I did not attempt this during the 24 hour build as I knew what the results would have been.....disasterous! I think it came out OK. I laid one end plate down and glued all of the elements into it and then walked away for a day. The next day I lined it all up and glued the other end plate on.
I would recommend this kit to anyone wanting to give a Formula One kit a try. Other than the rear wing it is an easy build.
