OK. Here's my entry for March and she is a real old one for me, built in 1986. What we have here is a mix of the MPC Ford Bigfoot with a MPC Dodge Deora, and powered by a wired and plumbed Monogram pro stock Ford motor. Fender flares were added using sheet stock. Dash is from the Knight Rider kit. The finish is blue fingernail polish with a dusting of fine silver metalflake. Bare metal foil was added for the side trim, and everything got several coats of clear. These are my 3 official photos, but if want to see more, go to: public.fotki.com/gkulchock/all-my-modeling-rel/my-finished-modelin/mpc-deora-bigfoot-4x4/

Great, a 4x4 category! Here is mine... 85 Ford Bronco baja racer. Built for a friend that races in the desert Southwest in Class 3. Started out as an AMT 81 Bronco. Scratchbuilt or resin cast pretty much everything except engine, frame, body and axles. Hope ya'll like it. John

Nice trucks guys! I guess i will throw this in here, i made it for my wife. It started as a bigfoot cab and bed. I used 2 cabs, moved the rear wheel wells forward to a standard bed, redid the bed floor, and inner fenders. Filled the hole in the hood, molded the flares , cut out the grill openings. Added a drip rail, etc. Scratch built the frame, Suspension-leafs and shocks(shocks and steering stab. work) , axle's ( except the pumpkins) The outer axle ends-spindles , disc brakes, u joints, drive lines, headers, exhaust pipe, etc. Basically everything except the engine and trans. Steering is poseable. The engine is from a mustang, radiator, brake booster, etc. from my parts box. I made the center console, shifters, etc. I have a link to my wip of it. s70.photobucket.com/albums/i105/noscuda340/Ford%20crew%20cab%20WIP/Thanks for looking! There are more pics of the chassis, engine, interior here..... s70.photobucket.com/albums/i105/noscuda340/ford4x4s/

I don't know about ya'll but in the year that I have been a member here, this is one of the best set of MOM's! Every truck very unique and well built! And I am not just saying that because I love 4x4's.... great work everyone! John

Ok i guess since this is my favorite thing to build heres one from my junk pile it started as a jeep CJ7 Top Truck Challenge type of rig built for trails and hard core rock crawling the only parts not scratch built are the hood, cowl, tires, seats and most of the engine oh yeah the axles too but they have been reworked enjoy even if for the laugh Willie

Hey all. I agree with John (coopdad). Some kicka$$ 4x4s here for the MOM. I have nothing finished, so maybe the next 4x4 MOM....which, BTW, there should be MORE of. I too love 4x4s.
