Bad day in Who-ville

........... every once in a while you get a model that just fights you every step of the way ................ this was one of those builds .............. it's the Kellogg's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Monte Carlo driven by Terry Labonte ............... box stock Revell Monte Carlo kit, MCW paints, and decals by the "Three Amigos"

This kit had a warped body, chassis , and trailing arms ............ I, however, didn't want to waste a kit ...... so I soldiered on ............. not what I had originally hoped for, but it will make an okay shelf model

Man it looks great. I wouldnt mind haven that thing on my shelf.(IF I COULD FIND THE ROOM! LOL)

Having done a few NASCARs, I can only imagine the decal work you put into this one. How were they? You really do some nice work OC.

You have to be careful with the Three Amigos decals, as they are printed on an Alps printer and are very thin .......... they also can not be cleared .............. but given that knowledge, they are really easy to handle and go on very well

Nice job on those decals O.C. Pretty neat scheme on that one. But I don't remeber Terry running that car. Very very cool.

if my feeble old mind serves me correctly, this scheme was run at Phoenix and Homestead at the tail-end of 2000 ............ results were not impressive ........ started 38th at Phoenix and finished 17th .......... started 39th at Homestead and finished 25th .......... not performances to cause celebration in Whoville
