I finally got this finished,I started it in november last year the body and the pickup bed have been completely smoothed over. I filled and moulded the front clip as are the rear fenders and rear lower panel on the pickup bed,I also decided to tilt the hood forward and filled and smoothed the firewall. I deleted the vent windows and lowerd the opening of the door glass to suit the opening of the windsheild frame. The dash has been converted to right hand drive and I used the gauge cluster from the 59 belair but with a lot of cutting and filling and smoothing it came out spot on,the seat is from the 57 belair and the steering wheel is from the kit. The desoto hemi is also from the kit amd I prefered the injection over the 8 stromies that came with it,I had a choice of 3 grilles I could use and chose the studerbaker as it looks just right for this build, the bumperette's are from my parts box as are all mirrors. the wheels and tyre's are from the kit but I painted the whitwalls and added valve stem's to finish them off, the side pipes are from the 59 elcamino and I made new engine pipes to mate up with them. I know some may not agree that fender skirts don't look good on pickup's but I had to make a set and add them to this to finish it right off and when I put them on then I was satified with it. Regards Tony.

Beautiful custom! It captures the look perfectly! And the fender skirts DO belong there.
