Since it's a big hauler, I'll post it here. Suppose it could go in either place, but it's more of a big rig, I think! Anyway! Done for now at least, till I realize I left off a grab iron, or air tank or frammit wenge! The last few hour were nerve racking, add a light, break off a ladder! But it was fun, never built a big truck before, so I learned a little. The bed is scratch built Enjoy! Link to the build public.fotki.com/slimlouis/haulers-trailers-an-1/70s-gmc-astro-95-hauler/

How did I miss this one? Great job Slim! Did you have a 1:1 that you based this off of? Probably don't see too many of these at the local short track Very nice build.

Thanks for the comments, I'm sorry I haven't reacted any sooner, this thread was pretty dead, and I just didn't think to look any more. Yeah, Nacho, this one probably does stretch the imagination more them others! But that's the fun of it sometimes! It's the late seventies, this driver is running a short track touring series like ASA or ARTGO, has a well funded sponsorship with the Chevy dealer,(who owns the truck!) , the truck is about eight to ten years old, so that's my little fictional story behind this build! The nice thing about short track racing modeling, is, somewhere, at some track, in this vast land of ours, there is a prototype for just about anything! The Ford C600 was probably the most common for years with any team with a few bucks! I have three of them and really should build one! Or three! Jeez sorry Tom I missed this one too. Absolutely awesome work man. What a great rig. One of those would sure look great under my Christmas tree next December. (Hear that Erica?) Very cool build bud.
