Eleanor won 3rd place at the Great South Tigerfest Scale Model Contest on Saturday i could of done better but its better than nothing. I just wanted to tell everyone.

I found that movie at Wallymart for $5 earlier this year,and it was the first time I'd seen it.
Your build looks so much like the actual car it's mind boggling! Excellent job,my friend ;D

Great models guys! I met Toby Halicki shortly before his death, among his gargantuan toy collection he had several Eleanor replicas, most really poorly done. He also had the real Eleanor in all its' 'tacky/beat/stuck back together movie car junk' glory. Toby was a fascinating guy, and the car, which you captured quite well, was base '72 302 fastback from Toby's junkyard, just a rebuilt 'mere suggestion' of a '73 Mach 1. It's still around in Denise's hands, has a full roll cage, race seat, stiffer chassis, all that 'movie car junk' that few people knew about. Anyway, great jobs!
