Got this yesterday at the TRICON Show in Pittsburgh. It was $17 and I didn't think that was too bad. Especially compared with some hobby shop prices. Here's some pics.
I'll be doing a complete build up review of this kit with regular updates over the next couple weeks. I'll post progress every 2 or 3 days. Some first impressions of the kit are mixed. The SS grill and taillight panel are incorrect for the Yenko. The 427 is really nice and looks very accurate compared to some reference photos I've been looking at. A disappointment is a lack of headers. Apparently they were available with headers, but were shipped in the trunk "to be installed by buyer for racing use". I'd like to do this review box stock but we'll see. Lyle Willits gave me some very good info on these cars. Hopefully this will turn out to be a fairly decent replica of a Yenko. I'll have some progress shots tomorrow or Tuesday.
