[/img] Here's my '55 Dodge Coronet l've had since 1973, & have done a LOT of modifying to get it like this. My latest project is adapting disc brakes on the front-almost done. Hmmm, well l don't quite know how to attach some pics; l need help! Harold

First, you will need a photo hosting site....I use Photobucket. Upload your photos to your photo hosting site. After they are uploaded, somewhere, you will see several codes....look for the one that says "IMG code"...... Copy that code and paste it in here. Once you get the hang of it, it'll be easy! Hope this helps....I wanna see that Dodge!!!! ;D

Thanks Tommy, I recall now that I had to do it that way on a Mopar website I joined. Here goes! Harold i379.photobucket.com/aIMG]http://i379.photobucket.com/albums/oo231/55coronet440/SixPack-1.jpg[/IMG]

Totally awesome car! I grew up in a mopar family and although I don't remember it, we had a 57 Dodge. I was 2 at the time! lol!

Now there's one you don't see every day. That thing is too cool! I bet you get a lot of looks when you're out cruising it. Thanks for sharing!

Have you ever tried to build a model of it? That would be pretty cool!

Actually I am modifying a '55 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer promo (that I found on eBay & won for around $60), to replicate my R/T. Although it will remain a curbside, it will look pretty good. So far I have cobbled a plastic chassis from an old AMT '57 Chevy (with dual exhaust molded in), & grafted the front frame clip to an AMT '55 Nomad (for working steering). Of course it will have a Dana 60 mounted with AMT '68 RoadRunner leaf springs, and a nice set of Cragar S/S mags & radials. Since the promo has no interior, I got a resin '56 Dodge tub & dash from the Modelhaus! And I'll have to replace the warped front & rear glass with clear flexible plastic. Oh, and of course I have a six-pack scoop from a Monogram '69 Bee & 440+6 decals from their '70 GTX to make the hood right. And I have chromed R/T emblems from a Revell '67 Coronet. I'll have to use the '68 side marker light decals from a Revell kit also, since AutoAtomix never sent me my order that I'm out $20 on! I couldn't even get one reply to my emails!!

Oh, man....we need to see some in-progress shots of this! Thats going to be one cool model! About those side marker lights, I had someone tell me to use a straight pin with a small head....just drill a hole, glue the pin head in it, and touch some transparent paint of the proper color (amber or red) to the center with a toothpick. I haven't seen it done, but it sounds reasonable enough.....and its CHEAP!!! lol!

Here's a red version my son did in Photoshop! I almost had it done in red the last paint job, but he wanted an extra $400 I didn't have!

Hmm, the straight pin idea does sound plausible; the decals I mentioned look fair but the pinheads would have a bit of depth! I think I'll try it on a junk '55 Dodge promo body b4 drilling the R/T project!
