I thought I posted this here but I couldn't find it. I bought this kit almost 2 years ago to bring my self back into the modeling world. It worked somewhat. I have had a lot of trouble with this kit. (not the kit, more of my stuff) Massive failures at paint (couldn't get the color right). The decals were messed up in the box and so on. So! I sent the body to a buddy of mine that works at a body shop, all sanded and ready to paint. He laid down the white for the stripes and it fried. Then it got a brake fluid bath and redone from scratch. There are a couple of things that I have to touch up, but he brought me the leftover paint so that is no biggie. The interior I am not doing to the specs of the movie car. Thats why there is no cage or sheet metal door panels and such. I had the full interior put together and then watched the movie again only to realize that the only seat that was in it was the drivers seat, and it was a racing seat. So I ripped the seats out and installed the racing seat, and put a filler panel in the back to cover the gap between the floorboard and the trunk area. Thats about all I have done so far. Maybe if I can get this one out from under my belt the next one will have better results. And there aren't many build pics because my camera broke and I just got a new one not too long ago. So!
