This started out as a chassis from a Dodge Ram 50 and a pile of resin and plastic parts. After I got finished grinding and cutting on the chassis all I had left was the frame rails and center crossmember. Rear crossmember, quick change and suspension from Karl Stark. Front crossmember was cut out of the 32 Ford chassis. Front spring and axle from Ron Royston. GMC inline 6 from Ron Royston with intake and carbs from Revell 53 Corvette. scratchbuilt the gas tank, radiator, header, shock mounts, front shocks and roll cage. Wheels, backing plates and tires from Karl Stark. Paint on the body is light metallic blue Plasti-kote that I picked up at a flea market for 99 cents a can over Inca Gold. Chassis was painted with Testors lacquer Inca Gold. The decals were printed by me. Thanks for looking, Big Mike

Oh, man! Thats nice!!!!Engine choice is perfect! Two thumbs up on this one! You should give us a tutorial on making decals like that! I have a dirt car project I'd like to do, but lack of the right decals has it stopped......or do you make custom decals for others?

Great job BigMike! Man, I really admire you guys who can take just about anything and make a cool model out of it. I just don't have that "mind's eye" to see what a finished model will look like before it's even started. Shoot, I'm lucky to get mine to look like the box art model. Anyhow, very cool modified. Keep 'em coming!
