... as most of you know, I have a love affair with Altereds ........... especially with Austin Bantam roadsters ............. one of my favorite cars back in the day was the beautiful, fire-breathing Reschlein & Trisch AA/A from Ohio ............. and that car was the inspiration for this build
The basis of the build is the AMT "Bantam Blast" kit which provides most of the chassis and engine parts ........... a modified Competition Resins fenderless Bantam body was used ........ along with 12 spoke front wheels, front tires, and Hilborn 4-port and scoop also coming from Comp Resins .......... the magneto is from Charlie at Pro Tech ........... the paint is a custom mix of Cobracolors Candy Tangerine and Candy Mayan Gold over a Sparkle Silver base .............. the decals came from Revell
