I dunno, it looks more like a mint 1st issue of the old Revell bus to me. which it's last issue was a van called the Roller Skate, (if I remember correctly). but I don't read German.

This link gives you a lot better understanding of the kit the Revell Germany site. On the Revell Germany site you get the impression that it's just an updated version of the Revell issued Hasegawa kit from 10 years ago.
I agree with Stefan, it pretty much has to be a new tooling. The original Revell 23 window has been so screwed up over the years that it would be less expensive to retool then repair.
It's one that is already on my wish list.

It looks a lot like the original '58 kit, but soooo much better IMO; I built a virgin one under contract in the 90's, so I can spot many of the similarities and differences. The chassis looks gorgeous on the new one, with the splash pans molded-in(all 1:1 sunroof models had those), and those seats with 'butt dents' are impressive to say the least. Rubber tires and the choice of US or Euro-spec bumpers is also a nice touch. Here's what I know of the previous Revell Bus kits: The original 23-window kit was modded and reissued as the 21-window in the mid 60's. The kit was later modded into the Rubber Duck panel, and the California Roller was a pretty much straight reissue of the Duck in an uglier color.

I stand corrected, some how I missed the difference in the chassis and a few other things as you pointed out. Now when will it be released?
