62 Chrysler Newport. RESTORED

OK. Here's one that I started on a couple of years ago. I got this on Ebay a long time ago, But when it arrived at my house, It was trashed. The body was broken into several pieces. Since I paid less for the car than I did for shipping I decided to test my skills and see if I could make a presentable shelf model out of it.
Its an original Revell kit that came with the box and the instructions, Both in pretty good condition, So what did I have to lose? After 2 years of playing around with it between projects, Heres the finished model. It's never going to win a show, But at least it's a decent shelf model of a very rare kit. Ha! I had one of those models back when, don't remember if convertible or hardtop. I still have a few scattered parts from it. I'll NEVER forget that odd color plastic!!!! Mine had optional engine parts for the dual carbs, the looong cross ram tubes so the carbs sat far from the manifold. Ah, great days, thanx for fine memories and very good work saving one of the rarest Chrysler kits!
