in the truck work bench section i am building a 29 ford rat hauler, but there's been a change of plans. the truck is still a rat itself, but i'm scraping the gasser look. however i am building this lil guy for it's load. i believe it's a tall T kit, but sure the kit name, the year of the ford, or the size. i chopped the roof about a 1/4 inch down to give it the lowered look, and i will be giving it a slight California rake in the rear. but not too much. it was painted orange when i got it, and the paint kept bleeding through after i had wet sanded and dry sanded dang near a dozen times, so i said forget it and left it as is, figured leave the orange to bleed through to give almost a rust look to him. the engine is the kit motor, not sure the size of the cubic inches, but i do know it's a flat head V8 with 3 deuces. the wheels I'll be using are from a 55 Chevy pro street machine kit i acquired at a flea market with the parts to Brutus. so with out further adieu here's Brutus Jr.

That chop looks good, way better than the ones I've tried A tip on the pics (only because you mentioned it). I sometimes have the exact same problem for the exact same reason (not a teen anymore ). You can pick up a tripod at someplace like Walmart for under 20 bucks,or if not,you can try what I do...I'll place the model in a spot where I can kinda use my arms as a tripod, setting my elbows firmly on the surface (desk or whatever). Remember to breathe softly, and like they taught us in sniper school, gently squeeze (not pull/push or mash) the trigger...uh...button. That should improve the blurryness-I'm still learning/working at it too,but this has helped me loads. Hope that helps

thanks old skooler. i'll give it a try. the wheel arrangement has been changed as well. i was thinkin on going with a bonnie salt flat look but 1, don't have the right wheels for it and 2, don't have the right hub moon covers. so i'm going with the original idea of the california rake and nostalgia dragger look. doing alot of modifications here and there on the under carriage as well as comin up with ideas for the suspension. i'll have pics up soon guys.
