no pics for this question folks. in works in progress i mentioned building brutus jr. as a bonnie salt flat racer. scrapped that idea because i do not have the right wheels or hub covers for it. but i did come across a set of left over dragster goodyear rear wheels that fit to the hubs i have. my question is do i keep the front stock treaded or shave the treads off and make them bald. i have done so much research on the old altered and rod draggers and they all show baldy's in the rear with treads up front. i have many rod and customs, hotrod's, and drag racing magazines, one even dating back to june of 1965. and they all show the same thing. yet when i go to the drags for the nostalgia runs, i see so many guys out there runnin baldy's all the way around on their rods. it's honestly confusing. i'm not sure what to do on this guys. so i figured i'd ask some of you for some input. it would be greatly appreciated. josh

Click on the link below for Early Years Resin. He is offering a salt flat tire and wheel. Most salt flat tires are smooth.

If you are going with changing it to a dragster, keep the treads up front.
