OK here's one thats been behind the shop for some time. On occasion it gets rolled round on in and a tad bit gets done. The car is a Holt Hause resin 58 Pontiac Bonneville, (why I bought the whole kit is beyond me) I decided that I wanted to do a full detail conversion on this one and used AMT 58 Chevy Impala's as donor cars. First thing was to stretch the wheel base, this took two chassis's to do it the easy way. The build will also utilize the Chevy interior as a base. I was trying to figure out how to change the interiors patterns, and came across a 58 T-Bird interior. While you can see that there are too many pleats for the Bonneville, (as it only has 12 total 6 on the back and 6 on the bottom), it does have the right shape for the seats. This is the door panel that I've plotted out ,(now to build it). and here's a mock up of the build so far,( oh , forgot to mention I'm opening the doors ) I've got a lot to do yet on this one and it being resin with the doors cut out the A posts are very fragile. Thanks for looking. Jerry

Great start on an awesome car! Cant wait to see more. What color(s) are you planing for this? You better buy an extra sheet of BMF cause there's a ton of trim on this car Please keep us posted.

Looks good so far Jerry. I like the long 50s cars. I have a resin 59 Bonneville that I'd like to get into soon. Yours may be the inspiration to get it done.
