Here is my WIP Military themed, MOPAR POWERED, lifted Scout.
The first thing I did was cut off the top, doors, and frame. Then I scrapped that pathetic excuse for a V8 and pulled out the BIG GUN!!! 440 MAGNUM!!! MOPAR POWER!!! About 90% of this build is either scratched, kitbashed, aftermarket, or HEAVILY MODIFIED! So on to what everyone came to see, PICS.
First is the rolling chassis. This is close to the actual ride height when finished. The axles pictured is not what I'm using. I'll be using Dana 60's from Comp. Resins. They have got to be some of the best resin pieces I've seen yet. No pinholes whatsoever.
Door jambs.
Shackles made from 1/16" solder.
Swampers with hand made bealocks and locking hubs.
The MOPAR 44 MAGNUM with hand made shotgun intake and oil filler neck and cap.
Heres some pics of the heavily modified radiator.
Heres the rear guard with Jerry can rack and diamond plate tail light box.
Racing seats with custom tube frame that allows the seats to move back and forth along with the handmade center console that opens and closes and also has handy "BEER HOLDERS".
Hand made front tube bumper with diamond plate cover. Offroad lights will be added later. You can also see the custom mesh grill I made. Headlights will be behind the mesh.
