this is a tribute to sam barris 49 merc, the grill is made from the 49 ford grill the ends of the grill are made from 22 bullit tips cut down then filed the seats I modified then added the piping the rug & floor mats are home grown the trunk is carpeted the correct color & piping on the rug the side panels in the trunk done the same way the fender skirts also home made out of metal see this is a 1/25 diecast, the door post are home made also they were slanted underneath the master cylinder, brake lines.fuel linesare home made have to finish up the headliner, engine& some trunk detailing all in all it's been taking a little time oh yah I made the side trim out of metal flashing that goes on soon THANX FOR LOOKING & HOPE U LIKE IT THANX WEO

a real lot of work it's not done yet but it's getting there have a little more detail on the engine & the engine compartment, the exhaust, finish the brake lines & finish up the headliner installed that last night just have the white piping to do on the headliner & the windshield I cracked it putting that in last night but what u gonna do. WEO

I worked on the merc yesterday got the trunk all done & I finished up putting the white piping on the headliner & I also made some sunvisors for it did them in green &edged them out in white piping also started on putting the side trim on made those out of metal flashing have the exhaust to do & finish up detailing the engine & engine compartment I need exhaust manifolds for the merc flathead does anyone know where I can get those if so please let me know u can get me here or e-mail me at WEOSAUTOART@YAHOO.COM THANX WEO

thanx cec I knew the guy that use to own it back here in jersey that car sat for years infact my kid brother when he was 16 yrs old he worked in a body shop & he stripped that car down to metal they primed it the owner tommy lee at that time came down took the car & parked it back in his garage for years & it just sat but I told him I was building a model of the merc & he nuts & he wants to see it when its done. WEO

THANX there buddy got the exhaust manifolds painted & on the headliner in the new pix not yet up u see the white piping the trunk lid I finally got it hinged so now I can open itjust have to finish up the exhaust & detail the motor with the wires & plumbin & the engine is sitting in there nice not long now I HOPE!!
