Only one word: WHY COMPETE WITH SCALE AUTO FORUM?
I readed your post on BnB, I know why you try to steer us away from there but I really don't think it's a good idea to advertise another forum (even if new) on all forums you know to serve your little vengeance....
This is my two cents and not necessary the view of other around here... René

I agree with you Rene. Yes SA has its bad points but you will never compete with it. The more forums there are the more people have to do. I am a member of several forums that I visit regularly and participate on. It seems everytime someone gets upset at SA they start a forum. You can promote it all you want but no bad mouthing any other forum on TMM.

The only thing about advertising on other forums is this. Every forum has members that do not participate. This forum here has members that have joined and don't post or only make one post and never hear from them again. Your friends forum can have 2000 members but if no one particiates it will go under. I would rather have a forum like this that has members involved. I for one will not join your friends forum. Ben I appreciate what you said. You have always been a straightforward guy.

SA's problem is Jim Haught,It was fine before him ( did I just say that? OOPS!) When he goes it will gain again. I don't think it will ever die,and everything evolves and has cycles. I have no use for SA,but I still check in once in a while. I really like what Bobby and Alex have going on here. Bobby put it right on! You have to post and share ideas or it does not work. There are way too many forums for what we do,I have actually dropped a few because I am online and not building models. I applaud your friend for being pro active,if you want members just post your work on other forums,be respectful of the site, and put the sites link in your signature .People will find you. Link people the forum to see the rest of your pics,if they like your forum they will stay. I like it here the most.BnB has a great forum too. Doug R

I totally agree with Bobby and Ben, most of you know me , if a member comes to your Forum and wants to advertise another forum, he should use common senses and talk the the Admin or Mods of the forum and get their ok on it, The more Forums out there and the more that share info with each other, just makes the modelling world that much better,I have'nt been on alot lately, such as making posts, but I do visit each and every forum that I belong to each day. Bobby and Alex have a fine Forum here ,as does Ben at MCC and I wish each of you a Happy New Year and the best for you and your members, May you grow sronger each day. bstone (Ben)

I agree with Bobby and Ben, I am not totaly in agreement with several of the forums out there but I dont try to compete with them. In the last 2 years I have had a major roll in starting 3 new forums and getting kicked to the side of the road when they got on their feet. I also belong to more forums than I can keep up with on a daily basis. I found both Bobbys forum and bstone(Ben) bY invitation and throughly enjoy both. Just wish I had more time to spend on each. But I have my own forum to attend to also. My hats off to Bobby and Ben for the fine work they do. The best way to get people to join is not by lashing out at others like SA. Just my 2 pennys worth. The best way to show one's dissaproval of a forum is to disconnect from it. I've read on several forums about issues going on at SA. I'm not always pleased at what goes on there or even other forums for that matter. I'm not sure what the big deal is because I never continue to read negativity. When I don't like something I have no use for it. I move on. Personally I don't feel Mopars ment any disrespect to TMM by asking us to join the new forum but there are better ways to get one's point across. I post on 3 forums at this time with the majority of my time spent at TMM. That's enough for me. To each his own.
Alex.

OK now for the final word on this topic. You can call me the police if you want but this is going on lock down. I received an e-mail about the member that started this thread. I take to the heart what that e-mail said so I will tell you right now in the open. I wont hide thru sending you an e-mail or personal message. If the main thing you are out to do is start trouble or get others in an uproar over SA you are at the wrong place. I worked too hard to get TMM where it is and I will not let some trouble maker come in and stir it up. If you have a problem with that then take it up with me. You can ask most of the meembers on here and they will tell you I am a man of my word. So take your problems with SA to another site.
