"Pop`s" Texaco Update 9/13/09

Should have my Butt kicked for not posting this earlier in the build. Just haven`t had time to get to other forums as much as I would like to. Sorry Bobby. I used 2 MRC texaco stations to build this double bay. Durhams Rock hard putty for the concrete and walks. Silver sage brush for the tree. Have a lot more to do, trying to get it ready for Atlanta. 9 figures painted and 5 to go.Stil have a lot of small details to do. Bobby & Dave(Fireguy) are building a couple of cars for it for me. Thanks guys for the help.

Nice Work! Whats the size of this?

I'll be looking forward to seeing this model myself in Atlanta on the 14th of November. At least 3 of us "club mumbers" will be coming down for that one.

Wow, you are right... should have posted sooner!
Only one thing I see wrong, the TR3 needs to be attached to the wrecker!

Latest Update: Had to modify the lift to be more period correct, Compresor finished, and painted trim on bottom of walls to match the side walk. Put up lights over all doors. Added a few more goodies inside.

Getting close to being finished, added: vent pipes for gas storage tanks, meter box and weather head, lights to the over head I-Beams, gas pumps, oil cans, welder, lube man, shed over air compressor,and out side water hose.

;D This is coming out nice. Where did you get the toilet and bathroom sink? I need some of these.

Prety much all the dio goodies were picked up from SMBC or SELtd. I think the Both room sets came from SMBC, a little pricy but well worth it. I replaced the mirrors with .020 polished alum scraps I had at work.
Ya know its kinda funny....every time I think I`m almost finished ....I find more details I can add. I found Mini-boxs from SMBC I`ll be working on next. Found some starters, generators, carbs, brakeshoes and other junk to paint and add. Can`t wait to see the Rambler and Jeep Bobby and Dave are building for it.

:oI'm DIGGIN this Dio. Every time I LQQK at the pictures, I see something else I did'nt see before. The tree LQQKS AWESOME and the Bathrooms have a TON of Detail, (Everywhere you LQQK it's just COOOOOOOL). Takes alot of time to do that kind of detail work..................
