I have more time than brains some times- Didn't want it to be a dressed up Ranger XLT trimed truck so I "de-tuned" the seat Thanks for looking at it. Cecil

Oh you know how I like old Fords. Love where this build is going. Great job on opening of the grill. I think your right, more time than brains, but that's what makes you an exceptional builder. Doing stuff like that, that the rest of of just say NO to. Love the bench seat treatment. Those tires look right at home on that old Ford. More pics. Don't keep us waiting too long. Keep it up my friend.

I opened up a chrome 79 ford picup grill, so I know what you went threw, but after it was done I thought it was kinda fun. Must be kinda warped a little.

i love the way this one is going. it's going to be an awesome looking truck when you're finished. like the six cylinder idea, and the seat and seat belts are a neat detail. i was thinking of doing a step side with one of mine. are you making the four wheel drive or two wheel drive version? what ever one you're doing i'll do the other . i like how you opened up the grill, i didn't go that far but i did change out the head lights on the one i made for a wrecker i built. keep up the great work, can't wait to see more. it's going to be a realy sharp looking truck when you get it finished .

I'm glad you guys like the Ford pick/up ! Thanks for the good words too.I cut the interior tub apart so the doors and dash can be painted and detailed Made the tabs from .125 Evergreen angle stock, it will make the sides fit nice after their painted and trimmed. Also removed the A/C vents from the dash and "Ranger XLT" trim from the glove box door. More soon, Cecil

Hey Mltoth, I like your trucks-1:1 and in scale ! Here's a 78 F 350 I've been using for reference. Got some tail lights made and the gas filler neck also. Thanks for looking in , Need to add a filler patch to this part of the cab because it's a step side. It's a 2 wheel drive now.BTW Cecil

looks like it's coming along nicely. like the way you did the interior to fix it up. the 1:1 truck you're using for reference looks like it would be a good fixer upper ;D.

Hey Mike T, I took this picture last summer when you posted a picture of your red F-250 4x4 This was my Dads favorite work truck, we hauled brick and block with it for many years then built the side walls on it to do roofing tear offs as it got older-I parked it at a job site next to the house and a day or two later I would pick it up loaded and take it to the dump.As it got too old for that kind of work, it got retired to a fire wood hauler. It has a 400/M with an automatic trans. (junk) It's earned it's keep for many years-that's why I've kept it around still. Thanks for the nice words- Cecil
