Lot of these types of trucks here in Florida so i decided to build a model of them. Converted the truck to 4 wheel drive and a solid front axle since the kit had a 2wd TTB setup that was problematic to lift properly. I used a Dana 60 centersection and leafsprings from an AMT Road Runner kit. Transfercase is from the parts box. Wheels and tires are from various AMT big rig kits.

Looking good. I'm guessing the ones in Florida are more for show than go?

Looking good. I'm guessing the ones in Florida are more for show than go? Yeah the people with 22.5 truck wheels on them don't take them off road. They all have highway tread on them. Besides all you have in Florida are swamps and mud holes, and duallys don't perform well in that stuff.
