Hi guys! I been working on the revell 70 buick GSX kit that I got for X-mas. I've been at it for about a week now and I spend about a good hour tonight drilling out the cast in grilles(what a pain!). I'm going to use the grilles out of the Model car Garage detail kit. The body is painted with testors one coat lacquer, the color is called revving red and I'm not to sure if I like this stuff yet. I painted the engine Tamiya italian red and heads and intake are aluminum with the trans painted steel, the chassis and floorpan are semi gloss black along with the front A-arms and rear-end. The exhaust manifolds are steel and the rest of the exhaust is aluminum. Thanks for looking Alan

Looks really good so far. Paint looks good. Never used it before...what is it that you don't like about it?

Hi Jonh,
The paint is a little on the thick side, I put down the first coat and gave it and hour to gas-out then hit the body with their wet look clear coat and ended up with two bubbles. So I had to sand them out. Maybe it was just me. lol

Here is the other part of my up-date. I've pretty much got the chassis done. I drop the front A-arms, and I hope that its not going to look to low. The rims and brakes are from Pegasus. Thanks for looking at my build!

Hi Guys, Its been sometime, but I've gotten some work done the last few days. Painted the engine bay, head liner and other spots on the body that needed to be black. got the grilles in and the hood painted. I'm also starting to work on the interior. I still need to detail paint the engine bay and interior. Alan
