hello all.
steve here from the UK, and another mad modeller who wishes to share his work. ;D ;D
i have been building models for around 35 years and i started when my father gave me my first kit when i was about ten. like him, who was another mad modeller, ;D i built lots of different kits, but it was in 1978 when i narrowed my subjects to sci-fi and cars. i attended my first model show in 1983, although i didn't get my first award until 85. i went to college in 1996 to study art and design, then went to university in 2000 to do a degree in modelmaking/model design, and graduated in 2003 with a 2:1 degree. i have sinced worked on various theatre productions, a TV drama and 2 films, one of which was "Batman Begins"
my choice of car subjects are hot rods, customs, street machines, drag (nostalgia) and bikes. i will start posting pics of my projects plus a wip of a Willys Gasser, although i'm still recovering from surgery on my right arm.
