hello.

this was a model that i built in 2000/2001 when i was at uni. since the college had a good workshop, i used the lathes that they had to turn many of the parts on this rod. this includes the brakes, lights, steering column, instrument bezels, gearstick and various engine parts. the grill is scratchbuilt from wire and the bonnet was modified. other body mods include removing the running boards, light posts, opening the doors and filling in the rear panel. the valve covers and throttle body were scratch built from chemiwood, and this was also used for the 2 piece dash and interior door panels. a few aftermarket parts were used and the paint is ford metallic red over pearl yellow with a silver base, and the black graphics were hand applied.

the head and tail lights were made for another rod, but i think they are better suited for this.
