C5-R Corvette Daytona 2001

Have wanted to build this one every since it was raced, started it a couple of times and was just never happy with the way it was going. Ran across the kit in the closet last week, the body was already in primer and I thought I would give it another go. Over all fairly happy with it could be better but hey I finally got it built. I love the way these cars looked crossing the line all dirty, so I did a little weathering not one of my strong suites either.

Revell kit with the kit decals, paint is model masters lacquer with 2 part clear, and I mixed up a wash to do the panel lines. Weathering was done with a Tamiya weathering kit. Other than that is just what came in the box.
