There is an older gentleman who used to work at the trucking company that I'm at. He stops by from time to time to shoot the breeze. He saw the flyer for the 3 Rivers Model Show I posted there the other day and he says he has some kits he built awhile ago in a box at home. I asked him to bring 'em in, I'd enjoy seeing 'em. A few days later he comes in w/ a good-sized box full of built-ups. They were all pretty much decent & complete. They are all mine now lol. They include: 1927 T Touring (w/ Laurel & Hardy figures) 1960 Chevy station wagon 1969 Impala (How can I tell if it's the AMT or MPC?) 1972 Impala (molded in a nice medium blue) 1975 Impala (molded in a medium brown/tan) 1976 Impala plus 8 other old original kits, all of which have been re-issued, but some not for some time. I'm havin a blast, cleanin the dust off 'em now. Nice find, eh? I'll see about postin some pics of 'em

Here's a few pics.. (no your eyes arent goin bad, they're just not the best pics lol) I noticed that the '69 Impala has redlines on one side of the tires, bluelines on the other.. (I dunno if that makes it an AMT or an MPC though..) It also has SS & 427 badges About the only differences between the 75 & 76 Caprices are the front ends & wheelcovers Gotta love that '60 wagon & blue '72 (even tho the chrome needs redone on the wagon). What a find. I'm glad I bought 'em. For years I been thinkin bout modeling every year of full-size Chevrolet available in kit form. With these models I'm a little bit closer to being able to do so. So far I have: '32, '37, (I have a nice 1/24 diecast '41, '47 & '48), '51, '53, '54, '55, '56, '57, '58, '59, '60, '61, '62, '63, '64, '65, '67, '68, '69, '70, '72, '75, '76 (then nothing till the Revell Caprice Taxi/Firechief).. Then again, I'll probably never get around to doing such a massive undertaking LOL (unless I build nothing but full-size Chevies for the next few years...)
