Today I will show you a project I am working on for several month: It is an Airport Pumper Truck. I was inspirated by seeing a picture in a book about US fire-trucks: Here the pics from the book:Front: Back: The interesting thing of that truck was, that it is only 1.8 meters high - don't know what this would be in inches or feet, but for example I am 1.86 meters (tall?). With this low siloutte it the engine is able to drive into parking-houses ! here is what I did until now: I was not able to find out, who might be the producer of that vehicle, but when checking the cabin, I thought it could be Oshkosh (?). The model: I used the pumper body from AMT LaFrance Pumper, which I lowered a little bit. The cabin is scratch-built. I hope to finish this kit in the near futur ;-) Gessy
