Another sports car in the works, the old Tamiya Lotus Super Seven Series II. I started off by cleaning up the inner lip of the nose where the grille attaches. Most of the work on it so far has been fitting all the panels, and opening up the small scoop on the side of the hood. One small detail I worked on was opening the spokes on the steering wheel. Yeah, I was bored... And last, I have it sitting on a new wheel set from Replicas and Miniatures of MD made specifically for this kit, and uses the kit tires. Norm did a superb job on these wheels!

Nice work. How are the kit wheels different?

The kit wheels are steelies with small dog dish caps. The Minilites fit the character of these cars much better.
