Nicknamed "The Beast"...
The kit's wheels are nicely done, but too small, and the tires sucked. Using some larger Goodyears from other Monogram kits, I turned the kit 1-ton wheels down, and fitted them into sleeves cut from parts box inner wheel halves:
Along with adding some lift blocks between the rear axle and leaf springs, it really changed the way the truck sits:
Also built a Reese hitch, and a diamond plate tool box:
Plans are for an Eddie Bauer paint scheme, metallic red with lt gold rocker panel and pinstripe, and tan interior.
