This build is something I've had cooking in the back of my mind ever since I saw the 1:1 car. Starting with the original issue Revell '06 Mustang...one of my kittens decided to offer scale comparison... But it turns out it was only interested in chewing on the car while I wasn't looking... Working to make it into this...Howard County, Maryland Police Traffic Enforcement Unit...

Gonna skip some photos I took of this build, since I am past that stage, and who wants to see a chassis pan in primer... But here is the start of the engine assembly And here is the completely engine (did some touch-up work after viewing these picture...man the camera doesn't lie )

Last photos to share so far... Here is the chassis pan almost done with detail painting. The color is Testors Jet Exhaust and is the closest thing I can find to the weird champagne/gold color of the real thing. And here we have the completed assembly just needing brakes and waiting on the wheels to get out of the chrome stripper.

It is good to see that model building is a family hobby. Everyone has something to add. My cat usually adds a bit of fur to the paint (her speciality).
Your build is looking really good! I agree the photos are a good way to take a second look at your build. They really help.

Got the interior pan flocked with the rear seat and center console installed. Also have one side panel done with BMF door handle. Next up will be to finish painting the inner fenders so I can install the the completed firewall, and finish up the rest of the interior, then get cracking on scratch building the police bits I need.

I will be there, it's only about 10 minutes from my house. Now whether anything I'm working on will be...well that would require me to actually get off my lazy hiney and shoot some primer and paint
