I finally finished something!!! ;D This is a model of a truck I owned back in 73-74, used primarily to tow my race car. When I bought it (it was a one owner, a year old, and had 14,000 miles on it...and I paid $1500. It sold for $1800 when it was brand new!) it had a 307 with a 3 speed manual transmission. I had an extra 4 speed, so I put that in there, and slowly started hopping up the engine with headers, and an aluminum intake. During the winter months, I would pull the 350 out of the race car and put in there. It was quite peppy! 
The model is the AMT longbed with a resin short bed from Bandit Resin. The interior was changed to a bench seat, and has an 8 track tape player under the dash. The wheels and tires are from Ma's Resin....I had to settle for BFG T/A lettering, the actual truck had Daytona Sport 60s on it, but no one makes the lettering for that.....yet. The rear step bumper is scratchbuilt. Paint is plain ol' Testors enamel.
I eventually plan to build my race car and put it on a trailer behind the truck. Gotta get caught up on some other projects first!!!
