this is the start of this build got the bed cover for the most part made just a few minor details then ill move on to filling in the door and tailgate handles. anybody have any advise on what to use for that??? Attachments:

Hey shreddedtire82, Looks good so far. To fill the door and tailgate handels, just get a piece of kit sprue, and a large file. Shave off some plastic from the sprue, get a good size pile of shavings. Then put the shavings into a small container and add some liquid glue and mix until you have a kinda thick blob of melted plastic. Use something like a small screwdriver and spread it into the holes, let it dry, and sand it uniform with the panel. its cheep and works perty good. Make sure to ruff-up the area your filling, so the filler can "Bite" into the plastic.

design change decied not to do black just got to figure out another color ill look and see what i can come up with

Figured out the color change desied to go with testors jade green metal flake and as you can tell its not very rain friendly now..... Attachments:

got the color on the body and sprayed the bed with rust-oleum american accents stone then put flat black on top of that to simulate a spray in bed liner still havent figured out the hood yet and the tailgate needs to be painted still

modified frame frome a cadillac escalade ext front suspension is from a 89 silverado everything else is cadillac decals are from the revell lowrider 92 mustang gt kit
