I couldn't decide whether to put this in the "interiors" or "bodywork" sections. I'm hoping someone has done this before. How would one go about making a new windshield? I'm wanting to start working on the Tom Daniel's "Street Fighter" Sedan Delivery and I really don't like the red windshield that is provided and want to install a clear one. Short of using one from another kit, is there any tips on what materials to use to create my own? Thanks in advance Jerrald

Jerrald, I have never done this myself but here are a few things I have read about. You can buy clear sheets of styrene. Actually I'm not sure if it is styrene or another material* but it would be with the other styrene supplies in a hobby store. I have heard of using material from a clear report cover. I have saved the clear plastic insert that comes in new shirt collars. I'm sure there are dozens of other items like these that other people have used. The trickiest part is if the windshield has compound curves to it. Hope this helps.
*I just looked it up. I believe it is clear acetate sheet.

Evergreen Scale Models sells it in different thicknesses in a sheet pack. Availble in most Hobby Stores.

Thanks Guys. I was at Hobby Lobby last night and in the clay/glass working aisle they have sheets of clear acrylic sheets of different sizes. I picked a small sheet up for and am going to try and mold it to the kit's original red windshield. I figured for a buck 99 I could afford to experiment. I'll keep everyone posted.
