Here is one that I am stuck on, started by painting the body and put a few decals on it then quickly lost interest in it. I sanded off all the badges and the hood pins and all the mold lines and everything ghosted through when the paint was applied. The badges and hood pins will be put back on with the decals, but it sucks that the mold lines all came back. There is also one spot at the front of the straight hood decal that will not lay down for some reason.

I like the color that you went with. I hope that you find some inspiration to finish this one up. I would love to see the complete build.

Yes, I agree....looking good, and great choice for the color! Concerning the ghosting, I know its too late on this one, but next time, after you sand the emblems off, brush on a film of liquid cement (Tenax, Testors, Tamiya, etc), let that dry, then prime. That should solve the ghosting issue.

That is a good looking car!! I have had the same ghosting problem. On another forum, someone suggested to apply the primer in several light coats. I tried it and it works very well. That and the glue tip sound like a good solution. I will try using them both.
Relax and build it, if it is not perfect, just enjoy it. After all, you can build another one in another color, try the new techniques and have folks point out you must be a Baldwin Motion collector! "If one is good way too many is better!!!"
