I built this on the basis of what used to run in the Enduro Class at I79 Speedway in Shinnston, WV back in the 90's. Class was supposed to be take a car off the street and race it. Parts box wheels. Tires from AMT Ford Ranger. Modified PPP roll cage. Scratchbuilt exhaust. Misc decals from Slixx. Hope you enjoy. Other pics are here: public.fotki.com/NCWVSM/bobby-boggs/76-caprice-dirt-car/

Looks good. They call that the "Bomber" class at the local track here.

Hey Bobby, you are becoming the dirt track racer king. Another cool build! Gotta bring this one to the meeting for further inspection....lol.

Looking good here - I like the tires and the subtle touch you made with the exhaust fumes on the body.

You nailed that one, Bobby! Perfect! I remember the Enduro class at Lanier Speedway when it was dirt.....they would start about 50 cars, and wouldn't throw a caution unless the track was completely blocked. As slick as that body is, that one hasn't been raced much, has it? Lol! Those tires just look soooooo right on there.
