57 Chev my first on the site. pic redo

I built this a few years back for my Dad, it is my rendition of his first new car. It was his b-day gift, he loved it, still has it up in their living room.
It was my first time trying to detail the engine bay a little bit, body's primer gray and future glossed, top is testors white through an airbrush, bare metal trim, and except the hubcaps, all re chromed with alclad...great stuff. antenna is the end of a guitar string. And scratched coil. Fast forward. My Dad has since passed back in may. 84 years. He lived a good life. The model is still on the back of his side of the bed. Mom is keeping it there.

Thanx guys, Tommy, this is the old AMT kit. Had allot of clean up. Could tell the molds are wore out. The headlight bezels and hood are a tough fit, but not too bad of a kit for its age.

Thanx all, I appreciate the comps! That old kit took me a while to get together, he still loves it. It's in their living room to this day! At Xmas a few years ago, my Mom said..."Eddie, that's that car we got stuck on the bridge!" ...Priceless! My Papas got a different story about this ride!
