Did this for a project last summer, it's my take on the Bone Shaker. It looked perfect for a rat.
Sawed and grinded on it, hacked aluminum plates, stripped telephone wire, used thumbtacks for the hubs, did the salt trick on the body and solder for the pipes. I remember it was a fun project. Here they are together.
