Hey guys. Here is my most recently completed project. Our club president had the Tamiya 1/350 USS Enterprise kit, and offered it up as a group build, with each of us taking a part. I offered to take the flight deck, our club president and another did the hull, another with the main island tower, and another the aircraft. It's being assembled at our president's home. It may end up in the local air museum for display if they want to take it as donation. All in all, I've got 3/4 roll of masking tape, and 3/4 sheet of bare metal foil tied in to this along with 25 or so hours. It's three pieces that join together and getting the lines to all match up was the most difficult part.

My son-in-law is currently on the Enterprise.... This will be its last voyage... No mothballs for it though. Gonna be cut up and scrapped.... I also have an uncle that was on the maiden voyage back in the 60's.... Nice start to a tribute to an icon of the Navy....
